Out with the OLD in with the NEW.

So this week we experienced a few new things!!!

First, Evan has started wearing 12 months clothes because he is so tall. I never thought before be was born that he would be wearing 12 months clothes at 7 months. I have posted a picture below of him wearing one of his new outfits!!!

Second, Evan got to "play" in the rain today. We started out on our morning walk and did not even get half way around the neighborhood and its starts sprinkling...the it gets harder and harder. I ended up having to run back to the house. Evan just giggled the whole way home. It was funny...we both got pretty wet. See picture below.

Third, Evan is trying to crawl...see picture below of his attempt. He still has a long way to go, but he tries sooo hard.

Lastly, the thing I am most excited about!!! Evan drank half a cup of juice tonight!!!! Yay!!!! I have been working with him on drinking out of his cup and he has now got the hang of it. I am sooo excited!!!

Happy 7 months!!!

Evan turned 7 months old yesterday!!!! Thats so hard for me to believe! He is a joy and blessing to be around. He make Jason and I laugh all the time. Just recently he has become more active...rolling over and trying to crawl. He can now sit own his own!!!

Evan started eating meat last night and he did really well with it!!! I am now working with him to drink milk of a cup...we'll see!!!

While we were at home we got Evan's picture's taken!! They turned out sooo cute!

We are still Alive.

I know I have so neglected this blog this month...sorry my few readers that I do have. However, It has been a very busy month! We have seemed to stay on the go more!

Evan of course had his six month check-up...He is still in the 95th precentile for height and weight! Yay Evan!!!

Evan is now eating cereal in the morning and vegetables and fruit twice daily. He is doing great with it! Of course if you can't already tell...He LOVES food!!!

I have also started feeding Evan puffs...He loves them and gets so excited when you put them on his high chair!

This month, Evan has really started sitting up better, has much better hand control with holding objects, he has learned how to enjoy his jumparoo, has started enjoying his bath time, smiles and laughs so much more and has really started babbling TONS!!!

Just this week, Evan has starting sipping from his cup instead of chewing and has learned to roll both ways. I really never thought either of these would happen any time soon...but I am sooo thankful he has learned these two things!

Happy 4th of July!

Evan went for his first swim on the 4th of July!! He LOVED it!!! I know I have not posted about his half birthday...it's coming!
