Poor Baby

Poor Evan. Last Monday night started running a low grade fever. He already had a runny nose and a cough. Well, we just thought he had a really bad cold. We waited three days to take him to the doctor because that what they want you to do. He went to the doc last Thursday and was told he had the flu. It was then too late to do anything. He has now almost recovered and is feeling much better. It was so sad (the sad that hurts a mommies heart) to see him so sick. This is one of those things I would rather him not have ever again.

So, Evan get better and Parker now has a cold we are battling with.

I am more that ready for the warmer weather and sickness to GO AWAY!!!!!!

Hoping to be all better soon!

Be Mine

Happy Valentines! We had a good start to our valentines...but later came Evan's sickness (more on that later).

Evan loves his brother!

Parker thinks he is number 1 with the ladies.

and Evan thinks he is a ladies man.

Huh? We are raising two kids that are already liking the ladies. Aren't they too young? HaHa! Don't you like their Valentine's shirt's?

On another note Jason and I got to go on a dinner date to Logan's for Valentines! It was a nice change to be able to sit and talk to my husband without kids.

He brought me these:

and I gave him this:

Want To's for 2011

6. Attend a football game.
7. Take Evan Trick or Treating for the first time.
8. Take the boys to the National Peanut Festival.
9. Take the boys to the Pumpkin Patch.
10. Take the boys to Aplin Farms.
11. Take more picture's as a family.
12. Go see the Christmas lights in Wicksburg.
13. Ride around looking at Christmas lights with the boys.
14. Attend a Christmas Eve Service.
15. Go to the Zoo.
16. Take Evan to see the Christmas lights in Enterprise.
17. Take Evan to a Biscuits game.
18. Take Evan to the circus.
19. Take Evan to the McWanne Center in Birmingham.
20. Spend more time playing at the park.

This list may continue to grow as I think or more things to accomplish. Check back soon to see what we have accomplished.

New Normal

We have two new things that have become normal with out Little's right now...

Parker has started smiling!!! It's so contagious and lights up my heart! Sweet Boy!

And Evan...he thinks it's too funny to take his shirt off and run around the house. I find it too funny myself!

Warm Weather

We have started having warmer weather. We welcome it with open arms. This has been a tough winter for this Davis family. We are looking forward to spending many days outside in the near future!

Loving this weather!

One of Evan's favorite things to play outside!

Parker joined us for a brief moment

Two Months

Dear Parker,
You are 2 months old now. You have started showing us your smile just recently and it lights up my world! You are so sweet and you are sleeping much better than your brother ever thought about sleeping. However, you are having some serious stomach problems. The doctor is not sure what is going on. You are already taking reflux medication twice a day. The doctor told us to try maylox twice daily...we will see if that helps. I have faith that things will get better as you grow and get older! You bring so much joy into our home! We can't wait to watch you grow and share life with you! We love you very much!

Momma and DaDa

2 months check-up stats:
Weight: 13lbs 2 oz (85%)
Height: 23 3/4 inches (85%)

Parker did great at his check-up even though he had to get two shots and one oral vaccine. The Doctor said he is growing and looks healthy.
