FIVE MONTHS!!!

I can't believe that Evan is already 5 months old. Time goes by so fast! He has discovered some new things recently and is becoming much more active. We have also had some really good changes over the past week!

Evan is now eating vegetables! He started this week and really seems to loves squash! We have one more day before we try another vegetable!

Jason and I also transitioned him into his crib this past weekend! He is doing great sleeping upstairs! He now sleeps through the night without interruption! Jason and I are so thankful he has taken to sleeping in his crib! However, I am still working with him on his naps. He seems to had a hard time some days...but we will get there! Jason and I are glad to have our room back and we seem to be sleeping better as well.

He has officially found his feet and loves grabbing them and playing. He also likes to look at them while standing on the counter.

He seems to be getting better at grabbing for things he wants to play with and loves listening to the different sounds Jason and I make. He also likes to listen and watch when Jason and I talk. He seems to be jealous when I am on the phone...we wants all my attention.

We he is a growing little man!!! We are excited to see what the future holds for sweet Evan!

His face looks better (not as many sratches)

He loves this!

Playing is what I do best!

Doctors appointment...Rice Cereal...rolling over...

Last Monday we took Evan to the doctor for his 4 month check-up. He weighed 18 lbs 1.5oz. Which is in the 95th percentile. He was 25 1/2 inches long. Which is in the 80th percentile. I can't believe how fast he is growing!

He got 4 shots at the doctors office...he took them like a champ!

While we were waiting on the doctor to come in to check him out...Evan rolled over own his own!! GO EVAN! It was such a strange place to decided to roll over. However, Jason made the joke that Evan remembered what happened last time he was in the same place and he decided to escape.

So the doctor told us we could start rice cereal or oatmeal. We tried the rice cereal but he did not seem to like that too much. He does seem to like the oatmeal. So we will continue to feed him that and hope to be starting vegetables once he gets eating oatmeal down.

Evan has also decided that he no longer wants a bottle but seems to be taking well to the cup. We still need some work...but we are getting there.

Evan has become so much more active over the past few weeks. It is so amazing to watch him reach for things and the difference in the way he likes to play.

He seems to be such a happy little man and really enjoys people talking to him. He has really taken to his pacifier and we don't leave home without "Fred"...his security blanket

sitting in the bumbo chair...He is getting so strong!

Eating oatmeal...yum!
